The Junior Center of Art and Science, as a long time community arts and science organization established to promote creative and thoughtful expression in the East Bay, recently has re-envisioned its gallery space by opening it to the public for creative expression —  events, show intended to reach all members of the Bay Area community.
Given our current political context, we propose a Spring/Summer 2017 exhibit, “Immigration: Telling Our Stories”.  This Call is designed to highlight family history, story, and make connections across communities. Artists are encouraged to utilize any material that expresses their family’s experience of immigration. Get all the details here!
