In-Person Summer Camp at the Center

The Junior Center is committed to offering a fun and safe space for young ones to create and explore.  In summer 2021, we’ll be hosting four small group pod, in-person camps.  These camps will take place outdoors — on our decks and in our neighboring green space at Lakeside Park.

To learn more about our online camps, please visit VIRTUAL JCAS.

CAMP at JCAS is a creative and experiential summer day-camp that supports a community of artists and innovators who want to investigate their worlds.  At JCAS Summer Camp, your child explores the possibilities through the arts and sciences.  A variety of projects are designed around a weekly theme for each week of camp and are scaled to be developmentally appropriate and meet the needs of individual learners.  Each theme combines art, science, and outdoor play right at Lakeside Park!

Our projects are led by professional teaching artists and science educators who inspire a warm, open and creative environment where campers feel encouraged to take risks, explore and try their hand at a myriad of techniques.
