These \u2018set ups\u2019 grew quickly, sprawling across the room, on the floor, and on the furniture. They didn\u2019t know it at the time, but this was their introduction into landscape and installation&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome you to&nbsp;<strong><em>Set Ups: An Installation in Flux&nbsp;<\/em>, a collaborative installation by Luka Vergoz. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Join us<\/strong> for the opening reception on Friday, October 25th from 6:30 &#8211; 8:30pm. The exhibition will run from October 25th &#8211; December 13th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Add to the exhibit<\/strong>. Every Saturday during the exhibition, the community is welcomed to create objects and add to the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Meet the artist<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>Luka is hosting two workshops, Nov 16th and Dec 7th from 10am-12pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>About the Exhibit<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 30%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Children have an incredible ability to shift scales, transforming a room into a world. The title <em>Set Ups<\/em> comes from the worlds Luka built growing up and plays off the tension between planning and improvisation in art-making. The phrase also addresses the literal action of setting an object, placing it up, or down, as a basic unit of the creative process. Every Saturday during the exhibition (Oct 26 &#8211; Dec 7), the community is welcomed to create objects and add to the installation.  This installation will continuously grow and evolve each time someone adds to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-66bd57604c270d05fbb8715edc8f7440\" style=\"color:#0000ff\">Set It Up: A Workshop in Repurposed Materiality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 30%\" id=\"pink-shadow\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>In addition to our weekly invitations to add to the exhibit, Luka will also be holding two workshops on <strong>Saturday Nov 16 &amp; Dec 7 from 10am &#8211; 2 pm.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These workshops are an opportunity to meet Luka and learn their process. They will demonstrate how to use discarded and recycled materials to create objects, as well as explore scale and landscape.
