Spring After-school Classes

Create and explore with us after school! Our classes are engaging hands-on fun for young artists, makers, and inventors aged 5-12. Classes are small, student-centered experiences where youth can build skills, experiment with a variety of media, and connect with their creative selves.

Have you ever wondered how video games are created? Using Ever wondered how video games are made? Explore the world of coding using Scratch – an introductory coding platform. Students will investigate coding, video game design, animation and storytelling. Together, students will learn to think like software engineers and game designers while turning their ideas into their very own animated games and stories.


Students will learn to use a complement of hand tools during Students will learn to use a complement of hand tools during a course that emphasizes safe tool use, practical problem-solving, and creative development. Projects increase in difficulty as experience grows. Woodworking students will begin with projects such as a small toy boat and work up to full-sized furniture and professional skateboards.

2D and 3D Exploration Student artists will paint, design, sculpt, and build original artwork using a variety of traditional and unconventional techniques and materials. In this fun hands-on class students will gain basic art skills and be introduced to ceramics, mixed media, kinetic sculpture, assemblage, and more!


Students will adventure through creative processes using a variety of media and techniques including drawing, painting, collage and more. Activities focus on artistic skill building and creative thinking through individual and collaborative art projects. This class is especially designed for early artists between ages 5-7 who want to explore a range of ideas and mediums.
