ART PARTIES & SCIENCE CELEBRATIONS

Ideal for ages 5 – 12, our Teaching Artists lead each party through an age-appropriate project which will leave your child and their friends feeling inspired and confident in their creative abilities. 

Our 2 hour birthday party packages come complete with everything you need for your young creative’s special day:

ANIMAL ADVENTURES 

Guests will meet the Junior Center’s amazing animals up close and learn about their unique habitats, fascinating features, and incredible adaptive behaviors. After the animal encounter, kids will channel their creativity with an animal-themed art project.

FAIRY WONDERLAND

Guests will create their own crowns, wands and hand-made jewelry in this fun, fanciful party. Make a magic potion necklace and cast your spells. Perfect for any fairy, elf, or magical creature in the making!

PAINTING PARTY

Guests will have a blast creating their very own masterpiece inspired by a famous artist. Choose from exciting themes like Georgia O’Keeffe’s bold florals, Wayne Thiebaud’s sweet treat still-lifes, Vincent van Gogh’s swirling skies, or the delicate beauty of botanical watercolor illustrations. As they paint, kids will enjoy fun facts about the featured artist and learn painting techniques.

RECYCLED ROBOTS CELEBRATION

Get ready to build, create, and go green! Guests will explore the fascinating world of robots and then design their own unique creations using recycled materials and low-melt glue guns.

ROCKET SCIENCE CELEBRATION

Blast off into an unforgettable birthday celebration! Guests will design, build, and launch their very own rockets while diving into exciting hands-on experiments. This action-packed party will spark curiosity and let young scientists reach for the stars!

UNDER THE SEA

Guests will dive into the amazing world of marine life and create their own 3D underwater creature and habitat. With materials like model magic, gems, glitter, and paint, your little ones will craft magical sea-themed masterpieces they’ll treasure forever.

SLIME MADNESS  

Get ready for a gooey, glittery experiment! Each guest will step into their own slime lab and whip up the ultimate gelatinous formula. With an exciting array of mix-ins—think stretchy polymers, crunchy textures, shimmering glitter, and vibrant colors—kids can customize their creations like true experimenters. Then they’ll decorate their own slime jars to take home their crazy concoctions.

TERRARIUMS                             

Guests will build their own mini-biomes using air plants or succulents, colorful sand, moss, and dirt. They’ll personalize their globes with a variety of decor like tiny dinosaurs, animals, sea glass, and gems.

3D SCULPTURE

Guests will create their own unique three-dimensional masterpiece using wire, beads, wood, and model magic. Combining techniques like clay sculpting, painting, and threading, this party offers a fun, hands-on experience that will leave everyone feeling like a true sculptor!
